這學期國語康軒版人物 偉人單元 有一課是介紹海倫凱勒 另外一課是馬偕博士 這兩位都是近代史 不凡的人物 後來我們幫Melody在圖書館 找到全英文版的海倫凱勒傳 有cd(寂天出版) 覺得不錯就借來幫助她充實英文閱讀與聽力 利用晚上睡前 當舒眠背景音樂聽 剛開始Melody 很不習慣 感覺不對 但聽幾次後慢慢可以接受 後來我們到書局買這本書 方便可以隨時閱讀 收聽 又從學校圖書館裡借 兩本敦煌書局出版的英文讀本 Alice in Wonderland 和 Wuthering Heights 回家閱讀 告訴她開始不用急於查字典 慢慢看 不一定要一天就看完

昨天學校的英語朗讀比賽成績公布 Melody拿到第二名 她很高興 因為比她考試第一名 還興奮 她說很意外 因為去年(三年級時)的英語朗讀前兩名這次都有參加 她本來自認為拼一下頂多拿第三名就不錯了 只是若這次沒有拿前三 就很對不起代表班上比賽 (每班可以派2~3人) 所以患得患失 我們告訴她平常心 聲音要大速度放慢 態度從容 不得獎也無所謂 盡力就好 巴比也答應帶她去肯德基
學校英語老師的歌唱學英語 慢慢她又學會幾首英語歌 剛好家中的以前小時買的卡西歐電子琴 有一首 Top of the world 伴奏曲 她就跟唱
