空中英語教室教育機構雜誌常常會有使用讀者的學習見證短文 其中有位旅美原住民畫家優席夫Yosifu : 過去在台灣因為沒有錢補習 都是以空中英語教室為教材自學而來 他認為身為原住民的他有很好的聽力 模仿力 在閱讀方面他建議 可從自己喜歡的雜誌 童書 漫畫英語歌詞輕鬆開始 不要太難 有了興趣持續學習就容易了 ..
上週又去聽了徐薇的演講...
其實去年也有去聽她的演講 那場還上了某電視台的訪問專題的畫面 徐薇老師她現在經營自己品牌的國小英文菁英班連鎖加盟
以前在南陽街的補習班早已轉讓給別人(以前是國高中生升學班) 現在經營以國小菁英班 號稱小學畢業時 學完國中三年級英文課程
是屬於提前學習的菁英班 課程著重於除了要學自然發音外的kk音標 以部首字首字根字尾背單字 外加文法 可以說是現今台灣英文教育的精進版 填鴨式教育的改革版 先理解 再持續練習(UP學習法)
徐薇本身是就是品牌 人美又自信(有人說自傲) 在國內是少數未曾出國留學英文又頂尖屬於自學的學子 她對於國內英語教育制度與環境有著憂慮無奈 憂心忡忡 曾投書建議 石沈大海 (其實她所寄望的一群政府官員都是同質性高的書呆子書匠 博士又如何)
當然徐薇所舉例的接觸的中國各地學校英文學習課程太驚人(小六試卷是台灣高中學測以上的程度 更有聽力測驗) 或許她所接觸是少數頂尖私校作法 話說回來 若一級城市每個城市有十間私校如此做為 那全中國 可能有數十萬優秀的英文菁英小學生
在亞洲英語程度最強是新加坡 那是把英語當成是他們本國語而不是外國語 所以從幼稚園小學開始的測驗題目是英文而不是中文漢字
韓國近年來的視訊教學 遠距教學 英語村 蓬勃發展(台灣的英語村設施環境是屬於小兒科與韓國比是小巫見大巫)所以韓國學生英文力已經超越台灣 世界是平的 國際村當然以英文為主 網路也是
Melody現在是小二所以現在我們給予她學習方式 比較屬於彭蒙惠說的 學英語要從聽力開始...
也就是說生活美語 先聽懂 再持續學習 (接觸的是大家說英語 教會的英語班 學唱英語老歌...)
